Angela Brill, CFP®, acts as President, Partner and Financial Advisor with Prosperity Advisors. She has been in the financial services industry since 1995, helping clients build a better future by providing unique advice tailored to their specific needs. Her clients include people in all walks of life: multi-generational families, non-profits, business owners, executives, medical professionals, retirees and even college students.
Angela has a passion for her work, including helping women of all ages and stages pursue financial confidence and success. Angela has a divorce specialty as a Certified Divorce Financial Planner (CDFA™), and compassionately helps clients successfully navigate major life events such as divorce and widowhood. As a forward-looking advisor and mother of two sons, Angela also has a strong belief in helping young people create strong financial foundations, and volunteers her time to educate young people on personal finance and investing.
Angela is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. In 2017, she was awarded the Cetera Advisors Sapphire Award for her contribution to her peers for the gifting of time, coaching and professional perspective. In addition, Angela was elected in 2018 by top-ranking peers at Cetera Advisors to the Cetera Advisors Advisory Council, an elite group helping guide leadership initiatives within Cetera Advisors. She is a member of the Advisor Council for the Insured Retirement Institute.
Angela is a member of the Prosperity Advisors Investment Committee and leads the Planning Department at Prosperity.
She joined Prosperity Advisors in 2007 and prior to joining enjoyed a successful career at Fidelity Investments and Scudder Kemper Investments. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston College. She holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation and her Series 7 and 66 registrations. She is life, health and disability insurance licensed. Angela served on the Board of Directors for United Methodist Church of the Resurrection Foundation for several years and is a member of the Financial Services Institute. Angela’s outside passions are her sons, Eric and Mitch, fitness, sports, adventure and travel.
