As the principal and owner of Comprehensive Retirement Solutions (CRS), Mike is responsible for all financial planning for CRS clients.
Mike moved to Indiana from Michigan to attend Taylor University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Systems. Mike also minored in Economics.
Mike entered the financial planning field in May of 1993 and in October of 1996 attained the Certified Financial Planner™ certification, by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Early in his career Mike focused on providing financial education to employees of small and mid-sized companies. As his planning practice grew, he also worked with employers in providing retirement plans, with an emphasis on complete financial education for the participants in the plans.
His emphasis on financial education led him to accept the position of Career Development Chair with the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana. In that role he promoted financial education in both high schools and colleges in Indiana. Additionally, he has served on the Regional Advisory Board for the Academy of Finance Central Indiana, as a budget counselor for Grace Community Church, and on the Finance Advisory Board for Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Mike also served as President of the FPA of Greater Indiana in 2006.
When he is not crunching numbers, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and is actively involved at Central Christian Church of Carmel, IN.
